Back with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony

KITCHENER —It has been three years since the Cape Breton family band, the Barra MacNeils performed with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, years where they have toured coast to coast and added some new grooves…  For audiences coming to see the Barra MacNeils for the first time don’t expect to see them play the same instruments every song. These are musicians known for their mastery of a variety of instruments including accordion, tin whistle, flute, bouzouki, guitar, keyboards, piano, bodhran, banjo, percussion, fiddle, Celtic harp and mandolin. And to round it off, they sing and do a bit of step dancing.
