Crowds braved cooler temperatures for The Barra MacNeils’ live performance at the Acoustic Roots Festival on Saturday night.

HUNTINGTON, N.S. — The chill in Saturday night’s air didn’t stop Leijsa Wilton from enjoying The Barra MacNeil’s headlining set at this weekend’s Acoustic Roots Festival. “We were freezing, but they were so worth seeing,” said Wilton, a realtor from Glace Bay, joined by her husband, Bernie Ludyka. “The crowd got bigger as the day went on, and it was so hot sitting here in the afternoon. But then it definitely got cold.”night.
